Working With Owners to Keep Their Animals Healthy

Small Animal Services

Your pet is a special part of the family, and at Annabessacook Veterinary Clinic, we treat them as such. We work with canines, felines, and exotic small mammals, providing routine and emergency care so they can live their happiest, healthiest lives. Our small animal team provides compassionate care while providing owners with the information and resources they need to help their pet achieve optimal health.

Loving Your Pets As You Do

Preventative Care

We encourage pet owners to bring their animals in at least once a year for routine examinations. During these appointments, we will provide ear-to-tail evaluations and any necessary vaccinations. Our goal is to help prevent diseases and health conditions in your pet, and to provide early diagnosis and treatment for any that do arise.

Diagnostics

We use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment at our practice to ensure we can provide early detection of health conditions. Our tools include digital radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

Dentistry

Dental care is just as important for animals as it is for humans. During your pet’s checkup, we will examine their teeth and gums to determine if there is any developing decay or gum disease. During routine dental cleanings dental x-rays are performed to diagnose any health issues occuring in areas of the mouth not visible throughout a visual exam.

Surgery

Routine surgeries we perform for small animals include spays and neuters, biopsies, tumor removals, dental extractions, small-tissue procedures, and more. By using state-of-the-art tools and monitoring equipment, we keep your pet safe and comfortable during surgical procedures.

Internal Medicine

Our small animal vets specialize in working with dogs, cats, and their owners to prevent, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions. Our goal is to help your pet live a long, happy, and healthy life!

Small Mammal Exotics

We treat a wide range of small mammals and pocket pets, such as ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and more.
